On April 19, prior to the opening of the exhibition STILLES LEBEN, which will then be set up in the Barn, we will host a performative meeting of Eric Hattan and the drummer and percussionist Julian Sartorius. This will be realized on the same principle as „Chaises musicales“, a famous musical performance presented several times by the two artists and which allowed the discovery of Eric Hattan’s collection of chairs, set to sound by the percussionist and then stacked by the visual artist to form ephemeral sculptures. The performance of the two accomplices in the space of the Barn will honor the sound intrinsic to the various objects collected on site by Eric Hattan since early April for his exhibition and waiting to find their place as objects sculptures. The two experimental artists share a taste for play, balance and chance, the ingredients of an encounter that promises to be unusual, playful, spatial and rhythmic.
The Ferme-Asile of Sion is proud to welcome the artist Eric Hattan for the conception and realization of a sculptural, sound and performative exhibition created in situ in the space of the Grange and in collaboration with Christophe Fellay, Claire Frachebourg, dianita and Julian Sartorius.
